We are proud to announce that the David Douglas Arthur Academy was recognized as the Oregon Charter School of the Year for 2011 due to its great achievement, wonderful staff, and welcoming atmosphere. In addition, the Charter School Teacher of the Year for 2011, Mr. Shawn LaPointe, is a David Douglas Arthur Academy teacher.

DDAA received a letter from the Oregon Department of Education stating that DDAA has once again received an Outstanding Rating for our academic achievement for the 2009-2010 school year. Congratulations to all students, families and teachers. This is because of all of your hard work! Let’s keep working hard to receive this achievement for the current school year!
